How to win the lottery using “Hot” and “Cold” numbers.

On our website, you’ll find the lottery results for every U.S. state plus lottery results for the Mega Millions and Powerball lotteries. When you view the lottery results for any state, like California for example, you’ll see four icons next to the draw date for each game.

Next, you’ll see a chart that displays the hot, cold and overdue numbers for the Fantasy 5 game. These numbers are based on the last 50 draws.

The “Hot Numbers” are the numbers that have been chosen most frequently during the past 50 draws. For the California Fantasy 5 game, 36 has been in 24% of the last 50 draws. 31 has been in the last 22%. These are definitely hot numbers.

The opposite is the number 39. It has been in only 1 of the last 50 draws. That’s just 2%.

Here’s why hot and cold numbers are important and produce “Overdue Numbers.” Typically numbers that have been out for six games or less account for about half of future winning numbers. Losing numbers that have been out for 9 games or less account for about two-thirds of all the winning numbers. And losing numbers that have been out for 12 games or less account for about three-quarters of all the winning numbers. Therefore based on cold numbers, you can generate a list of overdue numbers. But to realize your best chance of winning the lottery, you need to make sure to include a hot number as well.

This combination of winning, losing, and overdue lottery numbers produces the second table called Combinations.

ca-lottery-combinations

The Combinations chart suggests numbers based on the reasoning above and avoids patterns and the “lucky” number syndrome. Selecting numbers in mathematical patterns or lucky numbers based on birthdays or anniversaries is extremely popular. However, if you win with these numbers, you’ll share your prize with multiple winners, reducing the amount of money you will receive. You might win a $30 million jackpot, but if 5,000 people chose the same number, you’ll be getting only $6,000.

Family Feud Over Lottery Jackpot Continues

The saga of one Brooklyn family’s court battle over a million dollar winning scratch-off ticket continues. 21-year-old Linza Ford won $1 million dollars playing New York’s Million Dollar Scratch game in 2012 and has been battling her mother in court ever since. Linza claims she is the sole owner of the scratch-off ticket and that her mother isn’t entitled to any of the winnings. Initially, Linza granted her mother, Barbara Quiles, access to her bank account in order to pay bills and take care of her siblings. She later found out that her mother was using the money for plastic surgery and quickly cut her off. Next, Barbara sued Linza claiming she was the true owner of the ticket, and the court froze Linza’s accounts pending further review of the allegations. As of late last month, the judge unfroze Linza’s account, allowing her access to the next $50,000 installment payment from the lottery winnings. We’re sure this isn’t the end to the family drama, but it certainly goes to show that money can’t always buy happiness!

California Widower Credits Wife with Win

San Francisco man, Jason Lieu really needed some good news, and it finally arrived early last month when he found out about his whopping $750,000 jackpot win. It had been a tough 2015 for Jason, who suffered the loss of his wife less than a year ago. Even though he always wished for a win, the news was shocking. “At first I didn’t believe it. I looked at it again, again, and again,” Jason told reporters. He went on to mention the most important and sentimental part of his win. He purchased the ticket on 10/18, the last four digits of his wife’s cell phone number. This was a clear sign that his late wife had a hand in the lucky win. As Jason told his son, “Your mom, she’s very happy, happy, happy!”
